Manny Manuel, born Cruz Manuel Hernández Santiago on December 1, 1972, in Orocovis,Puerto Rico, is a celebrated singer of merengue, tropical pop, and bolero.Known for his powerful voice and heartfelt style, he became a leading figure inPuerto Rican merengue during the ‘90s and 2000s.
He began his career with the popular merengue group LosSabrosos del Merengue, where he gained regional fame for his charismatic stagepresence and strong vocals. In 1994, he launched his solo career with the album¡Especialmente Para Ti!.
Over the years, Manny released more than a dozen albums,including Auténtico, Tengo Tanto, and Es Mi Tiempo. His music mixes romantic themes with fast-pacedrhythms, making him a staple at festivals, on the radio, and in tropical dancehalls.
