Tito El Bambino, born Efraín David Fines Nevares on October 5, 1981, in Carolina,Puerto Rico, is a reggaetón singer and songwriter known for his romanticlyrics, smooth vocal style, and crossover success in Latin pop. He began hismusic career as a teenager in the duo Héctor & Tito, where he played a keyrole in popularizing reggaetón in the early 2000s.
After separating from Héctor el Father in 2004, Tito launcheda successful solo career. His debut solo album, Top of the Line (2006), featured the hit “Caile,” which climbed Latin charts and cemented him as a solostar. He followed with a string of albums that blended reggaetón, Latin pop,tropical, and bachata, crafting a more melodic and romantic take on urbanmusic.
His biggest commercial success came with El Patrón (2009), which included the massive hit “El Amor” — a chart-topping anthem thatearned widespread acclaim and helped introduce reggaetón to broader audiences.In 2010, the song was awarded Latin Song of the Year by ASCAP.
