Wisin, born Juan Luis Morera Luna on December 19, 1978, in Cayey, Puerto Rico, is asinger, rapper, songwriter, and record producer recognized as one of thepioneers and powerhouses of reggaetón. He rose to fame as one half of the duoWisin & Yandel, helping to shape and popularize the urban Latin genreworldwide.

Wisin began his music career in the late ‘90s. Wisin &Yandel’s early albums, like De Nuevos aViejos and Mi Vida… MyLife were keyto reggaetón’s commercial rise. By the mid-2000s, the duo reached massiveglobal success with albums such as Pa’lMundo and Los Extraterrestres,featuring hits like “Rakata,” “Llamé Pa' Verte,” “Sexy Movimiento,” and “Abusadora.”

In 2014, Wisin launched his second solo album El Regreso del Sobreviviente featuringhits like “Adrenalina” (with JenniferLopez and Ricky Martin) and “Nota deAmor” (with Carlos Vives and Daddy Yankee). His sound fuses reggaetón,Latin trap, and urban pop, often featuring high-energy beats and motivationallyrics.
