Yandel, born Llandel Veguilla Malavé on January 14, 1977, in Cayey, Puerto Rico, is areggaetón singer, songwriter, and producer who rose to fame as one half of thelegendary duo Wisin & Yandel. The duo formed in the late 1990s and became adefining force in Latin urban music, known for blending reggaetón with hip-hop,electronic, and tropical rhythms. Together, they released multiplechart-topping albums such as Pa’l Mundo,Los Extraterrestres, and La Revolución, earning a global fan baseand setting new standards for the genre.
In 2003, Yandel released his first solo album Quién Contra Mí, showcasing a smoothervocal style compared to his partner Wisin’s harder rap delivery.
