Young Miko

Young Miko, born María Victoria Ramírez de Arellano Cardona on November 8, 1997, inAñasco, Puerto Rico, is a rising star in Latin urban music. Known for herfearless personality, bold lyricism, and genre-blending style, she’s quicklybecome one of the most exciting new voices in reggaetón and Latin trap.

Before entering the music scene, she studied visual arts andworked as a tattoo artist to support herself and fund her first studioequipment. In 2018, she began uploading her own songs to SoundCloud, where herraw and honest lyrics started gaining attention. Her breakout came in 2022 withthe release of her debut EP Trap Kitty,which introduced fans to her unique blend of Latin trap, reggaetón, and hip-hop,infused with a fresh, unapologetic energy.

She gained wider recognition in 2023 with the release of “Classy 101,” featuring Feid, whichbroke into the Billboard Hot 100 and became a streaming sensation. That sameyear, she collaborated with artists like Villano Antillano, Jowell & Randy,and Bad Gyal, positioning herself at the intersection of tradition andinnovation within Latin music.

In 2024, she released her debut album Att., which received critical and commercial success. The albumshowcased her versatility and authenticity, with themes that blend streetconfidence, personal identity, and sexuality. She also made her debut atCoachella, becoming one of the first openly queer Puerto Rican urban artists toperform on such a global stage.

Young Miko proudly represents the LGBTQ+ community and hasbeen praised for breaking barriers in a traditionally male-dominated andheteronormative genre. With over 5 years in the music scene, she continues tochallenge norms and lead a new wave of artists redefining what Latin urbanmusic can be.
